For the kind attention of all the devotees:
Please accept my dandavats pranams and receive heartly blessings
from Srila Gurudeva.
All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga and all glories to Sri
Sri Radha Vinode Bihariji.
As many of you have heard through reliable sources, Srila Gurudeva is at
the
moment in the hospital. There is every reason to be happy and relieved
because
there is no major problem. We did not want to take any risk and that is
why we
admitted Srila Gurudeva on Tuesday morning in Fortis hospital, New Delhi.
This is a new, premium class, state-of-the-art
hospital. The team of doctors are
familiar with Srila Gurudeva's physical health condition and have been
very
helpful to analyze the problem, bring immediate relief and expert
treatment.
What happened is that Sunday evening Srila Gurudeva went to take rest and
after
one hour he felt extremely uneasy, with pain on his left side. We called a
doctor in the middle of the night, visited the emergency department and
made an
X-ray. The doctor diagnosed that there was a blockage in the intestines
and
advised to make another test in Delhi in order to assess the exact
location and
reason of this blockage.
In Delhi hospital the doctors ran more tests, saw the results and
concluded
that the left kidney was inflamed due to a kidney stone. The enlarged,
inflamed
kidney placed pressure upon the intestines which was blocked due to this
pressure. By the time that all the test results were presented to us, the
stone
had already left the kidney and thus there was no need to perform any
special
treatment other than resting and carefully starting to drink and take
meals.
This was as of yesterday noon time. Today this morning, Srila Gurudeva was
in
best spirits, full smile and ready to start his writings as soon as is
possible. He ordered me to give his profuse heartly blessings to all of
you and
convey that he is alright and very happy to know that many of you will
attend
Sri Vraja Mandal parikrama this year.
I will certainly keep you informed about any further developments. The
doctors
expect that Srila Gurudeva may leave the hospital today or tomorrow, very
soon.
Aspiring for the service of Sri Guru and Vaisnavas
