Dear devotees and dear friends,
please accept our dandavats pranams and receive heartly blessings from
Srila Gurudeva. All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga and all glories
to Sri Sri Radha Vinode Bihariji.
Today we have very sad news for all of you. Very much unexpected, just
after Sri Radhastami, in the early morning of the appearance day of
Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur, our very dear god brother and friend, Kishore
Krsna prabhu left his body. When we received the news, we were in shock
and could not believe it. The day before he had spoken with other
devotees and he was present on the festival of Radhastami with the
devotees in Boston. There was no
indication that he was sick or that there was any serious problem with
his health. When he did not show up for his work, his colleagues became
worried and contacted the police. The police went to his home and
discovered that he had left his body.
Many of you have never met this wonderful devotee personally, but all of
you have been part of his devotional life. He personally started and
maintained our web site www.purebhakti.com. The last article that was
posted by Kishore prabhu is the lecture given on the occasion of Sri
Radhastami.
Those who know him closely, remember how he was very humble, dedicated
and fixed in his all his devotional practices. He was friendly to
everyone that he came in contact with. We remember how he voluntary
served in so many areas, especially in maintaining our web sites, in
book publication and in looking after the personal needs of other
devotees. We are feeling a great loss and will always remember him with
great fondness.
Kishore prabhu met with Srila Gurudeva for the first time in 1996 and
ever since that day he offered his services voluntary. Very soon he
accepted initiation and after a short time Srila Gurudeva gave him
brahmachari vesa.
Although we are sad at the loss of his personal association, we are at
the same time happy to remember his wonderful qualities and his
exemplary dedication to serve the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
under the guidance of Srila Gurudeva.
Srila Gurudeva says: `I am showering my heartly blessings upon my dear
most Kishore Krsna prabhu. He had so much faith in me, served me in so
many ways and he has taken shelter with Krsna. Krsna will certainly
arrange that Kishore prabhu will continue to perfect his sadhana and
bhajan.'
All glories to Kishore Krsna prabhu.
