Srila Narayana Maharaja's Vyasa Puja in Hilo

Hilo, Hawaii - February 8, 2005

On February 8, 2005, over 400 devotees from around the world celebrated Srila Narayana Maharaja's Appearance Day with him in Hilo, Hawaii. Srila Narayana Maharaja came to the festival site in the morning, and for over an hour the devotees lined up to approach him on the vyasasana, to offer him flowers, presents and heartfelt prayers. Some of the devotees on the line handed him cell phones, and thus Srila Maharaja also spoke with many devotees from around the world on the phone during that hour. He then spoke for about 15 minutes about the significance of Vyasa Puja, at which time he explained that he was offering the devotees offerings to the lotus feet of his Gurudeva, Srila Bhaktiprajnana Kesava Gosvami Maharaja and his guru-parampara. After his short talk, he performed arati, worshiping the parampara.
