Swami Bhakti Vedanta Mahavir received harinama and diksha initiations from Srila Bhakti Vedanta Narayana Goswami Maharaja in 2007. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1981; is teacher of Vedanta and international lecturer since 2014; studied philosophy at Estate University of Rio de Janeiro between 2001 and 2004; and graduated in Bhakti-shastri from Florida Vedic College USA in 2012, where he published an article on Quantum Physics and Vedanta entitled "Quantum Vedanta As It Is".

Swami BV Mahavir has a deep knowledge of Vedic culture and scriptures, as well as a vast experience of having lived for 7 continuous years in monasteries in India since 2007, where he had the rare opportunity to personally serve his Gurudeva for 3 years. His entire life since then has been dedicated to bringing more love, peace and wisdom to the world, in a continuous effort to help humanity evolve spiritually in Krishna consciousness.
