There is no need of doing all these things. Because six gosvamis, what they have done we should do. They have not done anything like this, Katyayani-vrata and all these things. We should not [go] across them. We should do what they have done. Otherwise, we cannot have gopi-bhava.
When they will [take] birth from a gopi’s womb, then this should be done. Not in this body. The gopis worshipped Narayana. They worshipped Surya. They worshipped Durga. Did they follow Ekadasi or not? Did they observe Janmastami or not? We don’t know.
So you should not observe Janmastami? You should not do Ekadasi? And you should worship Durga and the Sun? Because gopis have done this? We should not do. What Rupa Gosvami and Sanatana Gosvami, Raghunatha dasa Gosvami have done, we should do.
